Perhaps their strikingly contrary personalities make the relationship between detective Jane Rizzo>li and medical investigator Maura Isles so effective. Detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and medicinal examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) investigate the grisly murder of a wealthy couple. The M.O. matches the work of a serial killer known for example the Surgeon, who once nearly murdered Jane. Now that the Surgeon is at the back of bars, it seems one of his proteges is picking up in which place he left off. Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga) guest stars.
